Covid - 19 Control Committee
The Bal Gurukul Public School – Kangoo, constituted a Covid 19 control Cell. The objective of this committee / cell is to Protect, Guide, to Educate / Sensitize students, teachers and non teaching staff along with the visitors in regards to COVID -19. The members of this committee will ensure that everyone in the school campus follow the SOP so that we can eliminate the risk of Covid 19 . The members of this committee are also supposed to bring in the kind notice of school management if any incident occurs that may cause the spread of Covid 19, so that management takes necessary action.
Following are the responsibilities of the committee members:
- Make sure to Maintain a safe distance between everyone present at school
- Eliminate the mixing of classes for school and after-school activities. For example, students in a class will stay in one classroom throughout the day, while teachers move between classrooms.
- Educate students not to share any Edibles, Stationary items like Books Copies Pen Pencils etc or any other thing within the students.
- Avoid having all the students and teachers together at once.
- Advise the transport teams against crowding during school pick-ups and drops.
- Encourage students not to gather and socialize in groups upon leaving school campus.
- Physically demonstrate how to wash your hands and apply sanitizer
- Make sure that the students, Teachers, and other non teaching staff wear mask all the time
- Sensitize students not to touch face Nose or eyes
- Consider daily screening for body temperature, and history of fever or feeling feverish in the previous 24 hours, on entry into the building for all staff, students and visitors to identify persons who are sick
- Ensure a procedure for isolating sick students and staff from those who are well – without creating stigma – and a process for informing parents so that they can take them back home or to medical facility.
- Encourage students to stay home and self-isolate should they feel ill.
- Make sure that the teacher stay in the class till the time next teachers comes.
